San Francisco, California – December 5, 2024 – Harvey, a leading provider of generative AI solutions for professional services, today announced expanded integrations with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Microsoft Word. Together, these integrations empower law, tax, and finance firms to work more efficiently by leveraging Harvey’s capabilities alongside the Microsoft ecosystem.

Law firms and enterprises are adopting SharePoint and OneDrive as their default document management system (DMS) to securely manage sensitive firm & client data. Managing high volumes of complex documents requires efficient, compliant integration across internal platforms. With this integration, lawyers and other professionals can securely use files from SharePoint or OneDrive throughout Harvey’s product suite. Purpose built for professional services, Harvey’s AI systems can quickly provide key insights on critical documents, minimizing the need for manual uploads and workflow disruptions.

This direct upload functionality is now generally available. In early 2025, Harvey plans to extend this integration with SharePoint Embedded, providing real-time mirroring to further streamline document management across platforms. Harvey, through its integrations with Microsoft, is committed to supporting firms and enterprises using SharePoint for document management.

Harvey’s platform runs on Microsoft Azure to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions, and these new integrations deepen our collaboration with Microsoft’s ecosystem. By integrating with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Harvey allows users to route queries to Harvey’s professional class AI from within Teams and other Microsoft 365 Copilot-enabled applications. The Harvey agent can be used to execute complex tasks, answer domain-specific questions, and analyze large document sets. This functionality unlocks specialized, context-aware insights without leaving the Microsoft environment—and will be generally available by the end of the year.

The new Harvey for Microsoft Word Add-In, now available to all Harvey customers, brings AI to where Harvey users already do most of their work. Harvey’s tools are now available directly in Word, allowing users to draft and edit legal documents using precedents without switching applications.

Partners like Harvey bring business value by integrating their innovative solutions with Microsoft products. By combining Microsoft 365 Copilot and productivity tools like Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Word, with Harvey’s domain-specific expertise, firms can address complex challenges, enhance document security, and unlock the advanced capabilities needed to thrive in high-stakes environments.
